Q & A : flowers and decorations
Like no other place on earth, The Mansion is a favorite of many distinguished guests, As a world renowned conference facility and venue we offer first class amenities and attention to detail found nowhere else.
Our renowned chef works with the event organizer to plan a unique and memorable event for each occasion. Our experienced five star staff coordinates every last detail from flowers to valet parking.
Q: Can you provide flowers for our event?
A: Yes! Fresh flowers add that special touch to any event. We think they are important! Simply give us your total flower budget, and we will put together a beautiful package you’re sure to love. If budget is an issue, we can do simple flowers, that will be wonderful! You don’t need a lot, just the touch of fragrance and wonder!
Q: I have no idea what kind of flowers will work at the Mansion, how do I choose?
A: Our complimentary event designer provides this service at no additional cost. In fact, we’ve provided beautiful event dressings not just at The Mansion, but globally for our corporate and private clients.
We have dressed over 20,000 events with everything you can imagine, even bathroom and dish towels
Q: Well that covers my decorations, but what about bouquets, boutonnières, and keepsakes?
A: We can supply ALL the arrangements you need to make your day special. Our event designer will help you coordinate the site décor with your other arrangements to help create a beautiful cohesive event and keep your costs down.
Q: Can I see the kind of arrangements available from The Mansion?
A: Yes. We have created a gallery of many arrangements available to get your creative juices flowing. If you see an arrangement in the gallery you like, let us know. If you have an idea of your own, share it with us -- and we will bring it to life for you.
Q: I love fresh flowers but I was thinking of something different, do you offer alternatives?
A: Absolutely! We work to make your dreams become reality. We have nearly 30 years of event and party staging experience that has included live plants, trees, topiaries, cornucopias, silk flowers, books jewelry, balloons, even custom feather centerpieces.
Q: How much should I expect to budget for flowers/decorations?
A: As a rule 20% of the total cost of your event will be allocated to decorations. However, because of the spectacular surroundings provided by The Mansion many of our guests spend far less than that.
Q: What can I do to reduce the cost of flowers/decorations for my event?
A: There are many ways to save money while offering memorable ambiance at The Mansion. Consider having your event in the month of December. The Mansion becomes a holiday wonderland and the cost of decorating gets spread out among our many events of the season which lowers costs for you. If you are hosting in the fall or winter, try candles instead of fresh flowers they are fragrant and create a beautiful glow. Want to try something different? The Mansion holds many unique items that can be used to dress your tables at no extra charge. If you have your heart set on flowers, or are hosting a sit-down dinner instead of a buffet, choose a simple arrangement instead of an elaborate one, they are just as beautiful and typically less expensive
Q: What happens to my flowers after my event?
A: All flowers must remain at The Mansion immediately after your event; however, they may be picked up the next day.
Our largest flower/decorations budget was $243,200 for one hundred guests. So the sky is the limit, based on your fantasy, and budget!
Q: What happens if I leave my flowers at The Mansion?
A: You can pick them up the next day and distribute then among your friends or, in keeping with our philosophy of giving, we will donate them to one of the many charities we work with.
Q: Can I use my own florist?
A: Absolutely, but if we handle the flowers, you will get a better “deal” since we know how to make the Mansion look good—without spending a lot of your money. If you do choose to have another company provide flowers or decorations, please make sure they contact us via email at events@omansion.com when they will be delivering, to make sure they work around other events being held the day of your event.
