Facility Rental

All-inclusive packages include space to fit rental. You will get either the ballroom or conservatory based on the number of guests in your party and what else is going on at the mansion - room choice is at the discretion of the mansion. If you would like to reserve a specific room or additional rooms, please check off the rooms that you require below.

Please enter the estimated number of guests above, since the initial required deposit is based on your number of guests. If you would like to add rental of our Gardens and/or kitchen please check the boxes. Final room assignment is at the discretion of museum staff.

Other Requirements

  • Full amount of facility rental fee is required to hold your date
    This fee is non-refundable, non-transferable
  • If you are bringing in your own equipment (tables, chairs etc.) you are required to set up, strike and remove from the facility the same day
  • If you are renting our equipment we handle set up & strike
  • Caterers and/or event planners must be approved
  • Tax exempt organizations must provide proof of DC tax exemption
  • Liquor must be purchased from us
  • Outside food is not permitted unless provided by an approved caterer
  • Must clean facility and put back all items in original place

Required museum staff per event

  • Two museum supervisors ($100/hr ea.) minimum 8 hours
  • One kitchen supervisor ($100/hr.) minimum 8 hours
  • Valet supervisor ($75/hr.) minimum 8 hours

To secure your room reservation, a one night's non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is charged at time of reservation. If you are booking a block of rooms a 50% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit for the entire length of stay for each room is required at time of booking. The balance is due 15 days before your stay, and is non-refundable/non-transferable. Check-in is at 3 p.m. check-out is 11 a.m. There is a one night charge for early checkout and $100 for a late checkout. You are welcome to schedule a private party in one of our event spaces but, private parties in our rooms, suites, and residences are strictly prohibited. A fine of $1,000 may be assessed for non-compliance. charges may be incurred should a service animal damage or soil the hotel. a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is needed to book a date and time.

This tour reservation is non-refundable, and can be transferred to another date only if we are notified at least 5 business days in advance, based on availability.
