Mere words cannot do justice to my feelings regarding the Mansion on O Street. It would be inadequate to say how fabulous my daughter's wedding was. The event was pure joy from the moment we arrived 4 days prior to the wedding day to our reluctant departure 2 days following the evening. It was obvious that everyone on staff, from H and Ted to the Chef and to the Interns love what they do every day and take enormous pride in providing their guests with the best experience imaginable. Whatever I envisioned for the wedding was far exceeded by the actual event. Every detail was perfect; the ceremony room was intimate, the cocktail hour was flowing with food and drink, the dinner was beautifully prepared, and the dessert table was the ultimate in extravagance. The DJ kept our guests on their feet, and the lipsologist provided a unique entertainment experience. The bride and groom were ecstatic, the guests were awed and no one wanted to leave. Personally, I would move right into the Mansion and stay there forever if they let me!

From the welcoming greeting at the door and introduction to the Mansion to the fantastic Magic Show, it was a magical experience for our granddaughter and us-a birthday present for her 6th birthday. She had a great time hunting for the secret doors (and reading all of the "this is not a secret door" signs!). When I went on the website to arrange for the secret door hunt to find out there was a MAGIC SHOW...Icing on the cake! It was her first (and she happened to get a magic show kit for her birthday, so she was "Primed." We all thoroughly enjoyed the magic show-he was personable and made it enjoyable for all ages. We had held our "after the wedding brunch" at the Mansion years ago and it was also a fabulous way to end that special week-end. The Mansion on O Street is a treasure for DC. Thank you!

As a private club, The Mansion provides you the freedom to choose a smoking or smoke-free (or combination) environment for your gathering — when you choose the exclusive club floor rental option. While we support the responsible use of fine cigars and cigarettes, we also recognize and accomodate all of the diverse needs of our members. To that end, we offer a state-of-the art air circulation and purification system that allows for constant clean air throughout The Mansion.

A spectacular array of rooms and objects! We knew we were going to an historic townhouse with lots of objects and hidden doors. We didn't realize that it's a combined four row houses with artistry in every inch and it is basically also an operating hotel, so most of the rooms are bedrooms, each decorated uniquely - some French provincial, some art deco, some Bohemian, and others just an eclectic mix of styles, textures, prints and knick knacks. It was fun. We found seven of the secret doorways into other rooms, and that gave our boys a thrill. The owners happened to be on site during our tour, and we really enjoyed a few minutes of conversation with this incredible, intelligent, wordly and other-worldly, culturally diverse couple! A separate experience to my liking would be a tea time chat with H and her wonderful partner in crime! A visual smorgasborg!!
