                                            We just had our wedding at the Mansion and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! It was like a fairy tale. Our guests loved the decor and the food, and of course the chance to explore the Mansion on their own for a little while! We found out after the fact that the Mansion was also hosting another wedding on the same day, and we never would have known, because the service was impeccable and the waitstaff were so responsive. They took care of every request we had, and were even able to make wonderful accommodations for several disabled guests. I would recommend the Mansion as an event venue to anyone who is willing to let go a little and allow the event planning staff to work their magic. They definitely know what they're doing! We stayed two nights in the Octagon Room, and really enjoyed the funky bathroom fixtures. The tub was pretty sweet!

                                            We just had our wedding at the Mansion and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! It was like a fairy tale. Our guests loved the decor and the food, and of course the chance to explore the Mansion on their own for a little while! We found out after the fact that the Mansion was also hosting another wedding on the same day, and we never would have known, because the service was impeccable and the waitstaff were so responsive. They took care of every request we had, and were even able to make wonderful accommodations for several disabled guests. I would recommend the Mansion as an event venue to anyone who is willing to let go a little and allow the event planning staff to work their magic. They definitely know what they're doing! We stayed two nights in the Octagon Room, and really enjoyed the funky bathroom fixtures. The tub was pretty sweet!

                                            We take your security, health, and privacy very seriously at The Mansion, with a strict, no-tolerance policy of never sharing your personal information — even your name — with anyone, before, during or after your event, hotel stay and/or retreat. In addition, no one has access to The Mansion, without a prearranged meeting/visit.

                                            simply put, no one can reach you when you are here, unless they have a password (or your mobile information).

                                            If anyone comes to the door or calls for a guest, member, or employee, and they do not have the password, they will be told — There is no one here by that name — or — There is no group here by that name. — No exceptions.                                             Absolutely delightful and charming. Loved the eclectic rooms, donated pieces for sale and the Royal Wedding breakfast was lovely.                                             As a private club, The Mansion provides you the freedom to choose a smoking or smoke-free (or combination) environment for your gathering — when you choose the exclusive club floor rental option. While we support the responsible use of fine cigars and cigarettes, we also recognize and accomodate all of the diverse needs of our members. To that end, we offer a state-of-the art air circulation and purification system that allows for constant clean air throughout The Mansion.

                                            Our world class mahogany humidor, is kept at 70 degrees with a humidity level of 70% to ensure the integrity of every cigar. We have a wide variety of cigars on hand. You can also host an event with a cigar roller

                                            Hi! This past Christmas I decided to do something a little different. On Christmas Eve, without telling them where we were going, I brought my two daughters ("Oh Dad, not another secret trip! Where are we GOING?"), my out of work brother, and my 82 year old mother, to the Mansion. I gave them each $30 and said "Find a treasure and buy it!". My mother was in stroke recovery, but in her day she was a musician, a flea market specialist and Collector of Things, and even a Docent at Hillwood, the Margery Merriweather Post mansion here in DC. She absolutely LOVED the O Mansion. The girls covered every room they could find and had a blast! Mom moved slowly between floors, but was in awe by Simply Every Thing! In between helping her around, my brother found The Perfect Hat. I had the best feeling of giving I have ever experienced and we all decided this would be a new family tradition. I was also on the lookout for one of the Afternoon Teas at the mansion hoping to get ! Mom to attend one of them. She was looking forward to one. Mom was hit this June with acute diabetic pancreatitis. The impact of this disease spread throughout her body, and although she fought for three and a half weeks in the ICU and suffered the entire time, we lost Mom on July 5th. Still in shock, and still going through her things, I just realized I have tears in my eyes as I write this. However, I am certain her happiest moments in years were at your place with our little family this past Christmas Eve. Thanks for being there.
